This successful production, which also used equipment from <strong>EFD Studios<\/strong>, launched them to international fame.<\/p>\n<p>Beyond their on-screen connection, the two founded the production company <strong>La Corriente del Golfo<\/strong>, establishing themselves as undisputed leaders in Latin American cinema.<\/p>\n<p>Like their first major success together, this new project also benefits from the technical expertise of <strong>EFD Studios<\/strong>, closing a collaborative circle that spans over two decades.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>La M\u00e1quina<\/em><\/strong>,<strong> produced by Searchlight Television for Hulu <\/strong>and brought to life by <strong>La Corriente del Golfo<\/strong>, features the collaboration of<strong> ESPN KNOCKOUT<\/strong>. The cinematography is handled by <strong>Emiliano Villanueva, AMC<\/strong> (<em>A Cop Movie<\/em>, <em>The Thin Yellow Line<\/em>, <em>Lu&#8217;s Dream<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>For this production, <strong>EFD Studios<\/strong> deployed state-of-the-art technology, utilizing <strong>Alexa 35 <\/strong>cameras with <strong>Hawk V-Lite lenses<\/strong> and a sophisticated lighting system featuring <strong>SkyPanels<\/strong> and <strong>Asteras<\/strong>. This technical partnership ensures a top-tier visual experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>La M\u00e1quina<\/em><\/strong> tells the story of a boxer at the end of his career, played by <strong>Gael Garc\u00eda Bernal<\/strong>. With limited opportunities ahead, his shrewd manager, portrayed by <strong>Diego Luna<\/strong>, secures him one last chance to fight for the title.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marco Ram\u00edrez<\/strong>, known for his work on <em>Daredevil<\/em>, serves as showrunner, while the series is directed by <strong>Gabriel Ripstein<\/strong>, acclaimed for films like <em>600 Miles<\/em> and <em>An Unknown Enemy<\/em>. <strong>Gerardo Gatica, Leandro Halperin, and Adam Fishbach<\/strong> also join as producers.<\/p>\n<p>This series promises to be one of the most anticipated of the year, combining
